Academy
A programme for researchers at any career stage who want to grow as leaders and support the development of science in the Czech Republic. The Academy addresses many aspects of a scientist’s everyday life, from personal growth and confidence building to effective collaboration. Whether you are just beginning your career, leading a team, or shaping an institution, it offers space to reflect, learn and connect.
The pilot edition of the Academy launched in January 2026 and is currently at full capacity. As part of the Leadership Academy, we also organize open webinars on selected topics related to leadership in the scientific environment. In addition, we will gradually add community-focused events and activities. In an informal setting, we want to open conversations on specific topics that can inspire and move Czech science forward.
We are planning another run of the Academy this autumn, which will be open to researchers from various institutions. We will share information about the autumn edition soon.
Core modules
The Academy is built around three main modules that guide you through personal growth, working with your team, and developing your institution as a whole ecosystem. Along the way, we will also focus on specific skills connected to the scientific environment and everyday practice. You can choose the areas that fit best with your current role and goals.
