How Does the Leadership Academy Work?
The programme combines theoretical knowledge with practical tools and situations that participants encounter in their research practice.
The standard format includes:
- 6 thematic areas
- 6 online webinars
- 6 interactive workshops
- recordings of webinars focused on developing practical skills
- recommended literature and resources for further self-study
- a recommended duration of 4–6 months
- a group of 12–15 participants
- delivered in Czech or English
Academy Instructors
Jana Puhalová
An expert in adult education, leadership and people development with over twenty years’ experience.
She specialises in the development of leadership skills, teamwork, organisational culture and supporting change within organisations. At the Leadership Academy, she is a facilitator for face-to-face workshops.
Filip Kahoun
An organisational and managerial psychologist, leadership mentor and expert in leadership, strategic thinking and attention management.
He has over 15 years’ experience in senior management and has a long-standing track record of working with senior executives from both the academic and corporate sectors.

Who is the Programme Aimed at

Format and Venue
The academy usually takes place in a hybrid format, with webinars held online and workshops in person.
If this format does not suit you, it is also possible to adjust the balance between online and face-to-face activities within the programme.
Workshops can take place either directly at your institution, at the STAR premises in Dolní Břežany, or as a combination of both.
