About the event

In academic and scientific environments, scientific excellence is expected, but hardly anyone teaches leaders how to build a synergistic and effective team of top experts. Leading a research team presents specific challenges – ranging from a high degree of individualism and unclear roles to a breakdown in communication under the pressure of grant deadlines. At this session, we will identify the most common barriers that hold back your team’s potential and show you how to turn them into opportunities for growth.

What you will gain from the session:

  • Diagnosing the 5 most common dysfunctions in scientific and expert teams
  • How to move from micromanagement to trust and autonomy
  • Practical steps towards creating an environment focused on results and healthy relationships
